V1003SW.EARLYINKUTIL.M     Classic, early English saltglazed stoneware ink utility c1790/1800 two tone dark brown upper body, mid brown lower. Flat base, trimmed base edge, straight sides to sloped shoulders swooping into a curved tapering neck topped with a shallow round tooled lip. Light kiln marks and crudity all over, fingerprints and small dents and bulges. Essentially excellent and particularly small and petite.  3 3/4"high, 2 2/5"diameter. £145
