V0707SW.DWIGHTBOTTLEHAND.M  r  Rare English brown saltglazed stoneware bottle attributed to Dwight c1700, of elongated baluster form on small foot ovoid body and short tapering neck finished in deep  cordoned lip. Two tone with dark brownalmost metalic glazed upper 3/4 body with buff lower body colour. Grooved handle applied in tall arch to neck and shoulder.  Quality uniform glaze with very little kiln marks or drips etc. Handle is superb restoration difficult to spot.
