V0702.HALFTRANSANDGREST.M r  Attractive early English transitional shaft and globe half size c1680 restored (around shoulder and neck join). Blackglass (dark olive green) with gold and ochre iridescence patches. Medium kickup with sand pontil. Some fine small iridescent layers showing. Oeriginal neck re-applied but looks great on display and handling. Rounded lower body sides rounded tapering shoulders to short wide based tapering neck through wide saturn ring stringrim, below snapped off lightly nibbled lip.
