U1002S.IBILTON1729.M  Really attractive freeblown blackglass (dark olive green) low bodied English malletsealed to shoulder point "I.BILTON/1729"within a pelletted border and good seal lip edge. Medium kickup with sand pontil, rounded base edges lightly marvered sides to sloped shoulders into wide based tapering neck going through finely applied v section stringrim below snapped off firesmoothed lip. Full original surface gloss. Unfortunately  some small restoration and a crack running diagonally from behind the seal and down around one side of the base, very difficult to see on the shelf or even in handling. 7 1/4"high, 5 1/2"diameter    £sold
